Project description
Following the expansion of Liverpool University, a new wing called Vine Court was created and with it a dedicated post room that students could access to collect their mail and small parcels 24×7 securely.
DAD were asked to design, supply and install the solution. The first challenge was how to provide enough mailboxes for all of the students in such a small space. We overcame this issue by manufacturing a bank of multiple different sized letterboxes to cater for clusters, single and double rooms.
With space against us, we also created an island in the middle of the room so that students could access their mail from either side.
All-in-all the project was a huge success and ran to schedule in time for the new students arriving at the beginning of term.
