Surrounds and stands
The following different surrounds and stands, are suitable for use with Wall mounted or freestanding applications and are indicated accordingly below. Apart from their practical uses, they also provide a neat finish to the mailbox systems, wether used for one or more boxes, ensuring they are housed and supported suitably. The surrounds and stands are all available in matching finishes and colours to suit the base unit and with diffrerent angles and features they provided an enhanced look.
RTG Frame
Rectangular aluminum frame for bolt fixing or fixing into concrete. Base plate for bolt fixing available as an extra. The frame is for freestanding application only.
RRR Frame
Steel tubular frame for bolt fixing or fixing into concrete. Base plate for fixing is available as an extra. The frame is for freestanding applications only.
PFE Frame
Rectangular aluminum frame for bolt fixing or fixing into concrete. Base plate for bolt fixing available as an extra. The frame is for freestanding applications only.
RF Stand
Tubular stand for bolt fixing or concrete fixing. Available in variable lengths. The stand is for freestanding applications only.
PE Surround
Surround for recessed applications only with right-angled shaped aluminum profile.
PR Surround
Surround for recessed application only with rounded profile frame, coated in zinc.
PRD Surround
Decorative rounded surround for wall mounted or freestanding application.
EP Surround
Surround for wall mounted or freestanding applications.
Led surrounds
Brighten up your lobby thanks to our exclusive LED surround innovation for bank of mailboxes. It is composed of four 250mm wide panels fitted with LED lightning. This surround is really simple but visually powerful thanks to laser cut design that you can customise with all kind of shapes or patterns, display the name of a building or a company. Just send us your request and we will come back to you with drawings and pictures so you can visualise your idea in the most accurate way.
Electronic locks
The management and issuing of keys, especially for large multiple occupancy buildings and/or student accommodation, can be a complex, tiresome and costly procedure. The use of electronic locks are increasingly being asked for by our customers these days and DAD UK have been using them for years. With Digilock, Salto lock or any other manufacturer, we can integrate your keyless solution within our range of secure mailboxes.
High security lock
Due to the increase in mail theft and in turn ID theft, we took the decision to combat standard cam lock manipulation by developing and manufacturing our own high security locks, that you can opt for as an upgrade to your mailbox. Our high security lock TARA16C has more than 20,000 differs and is a more robust and secure cylinder. Supplied with 2 keys and a code key card, which you need to get additional keys cut only by DAD or an approved distributor.

Anti-arson extinguisher
Anti-arson extinguishers are a good alternative when fire-rated mailboxes are not required. These devices are pyro-flex thermoplastic tube which explodes from high temperatures, releasing a high density liquid extinguishing gas.
