DAD Mailboxes are made of electro galvanised steel, or stainless steel (grade 304), with some aluminium components. They can be powder coated (100% polyester). No health hazard is created by any components of a mailbox. Our mailboxes conform to BS EN 13724 Standard and are Royal Mail compliant. Mailboxes or banks of mailboxes should be handled with care and stored in a suitable environment to avoid damage to the finished product. The weight of a bank of mailboxes unit may be in excess of 25kg. Suitable handling arrangements and assessments should be made available to reduce the risk associated with manual handling. No individual door component, or a mailbox unit as a whole, poses a fire hazard during storage.
