DAD offers two versions, vertical and horizontal letterboxes, within its certified 120 minutes fire rated range to cater for any requirement for each individual development. Whether you require them to be wall-mounted, recessed or freestanding, we have the right solution for you. Fully certified to BS 476-20:1987, you can rest assured that they will maintain their integrity for at least two hours.

Choosing a lesser standard item may disable the Fire Rating of the property and become vulnerable to arson attacks. When deciding on the correct product to purchase, it is essential that the buyer is clear about the location where the mailboxes are going to be located.

The DAD UK Research and Development team worked with EXOVA Warrington to respect specifications and achieve full 120 minutes Fire Rating to BS 476-20:1987, providing a better quality range and alternative to the existing market.

Our FR120 vertical or FR120 horizontal letterboxes are front delivery / front retrieval (In Front / Out Front) products. Their size and weight are perfect for any of the following applications: freestanding, wall-mounted and recessed applications. If fitted, recessed into a fire-rated wall, our FR120 Fire-rated mailboxes will maintain the integrity of the fire-rated wall and restrict the spread of fire. Working with EXOVA Warrington, our FR120 range achieved full Fire Rating (two hours integrity) to BS 476-20:1987. Our fire-rated mailboxes were successfully selected for installation at the Athlete Village during the London 2012 Olympics and are as well Secured by Design Homes 2019 guide compliant.
